One of the many new features in Yosemite are the share sheet extensions, similar to the ones in iOS. At the moment I have two applications running on my Mac that support these: Things and Pinboard.in client Spillo.
These share sheets extensions are a simple and fast way to add data into either of these apps. I like to keep my fingers on the keyboard I figured setting up a custom keyboard shortcut would be neat. And voilá, it works! The custom shortcuts are even displayed next to the item in the share sheet.
Of course it is only a matter of until I outsmart myself and forget that I have set it up manually when I sit on a different computer. But that’s of course nothing new.
